FAQ's
BETTER HOMES, INCORPORATED OF BUCKS COUNTY, was formed in 1975 as a community-based non-profit corporation to assist low and middle-income families to obtain descent housing.

Our mission is to stabilize lower income communities through the rehabilitation of vacant and deteriorated houses. It is our mission to allow very low-income tenants to become homeowners and to provide high-quality housing to low and moderate income residents of Bucks County.

Our goals are to provide affordable housing and to revitalize distressed communities.

"We help people 'Fulfill the American Dream ' by having a place they can call their own.  It is very satisfying work."

Joseph J. Watts (Founder)

"BHI plans to continue building partnerships through the development of affordable housing. We plan to continue our efforts to make the "American Dream" a reality for many more families.  We will work closely with our constituents to provide programs and support services that will increase opportunities for economic and social advancement.  Our goal is to create a stable environment that will promote strong communities."
